I received another announcement from Marco Ponce, CEA – Agriculture.

We would like to inform you of the upcoming 23^rd Annual Rio Grande Valley Beef Improvement Association’s Bull Gain Test & Heifer Development Program.

RSVP IS REQUIRED  – RSVP Cattle for RGVBIA or contact the Hidalgo County Extension Office at (956) 383-1026.

Deadline to RSVP is October 2^nd

Please be sure to complete the necessary forms and bring them with you as cattle are delivered to the feedlot.
There are only minor changes from last year. Be sure to read the guidelines carefully.

Bull and heifers are to be delivered to Rio Beef Feed yard on Wednesday, October 7^th from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
We ask that you make sure your cattle are delivered to the feed yard on the above date and time so that we are there when they arrive to receive and process them. All animals must permanently be identified and accompanied with the completed application forms and a check to cover the fees.

We encourage you to share with any fellow South Texas Cattlemen.

We look forward to working with you in continuing to improve the quality of beef cattle industry in the Rio Grande Valley and the State of Texas through your participation in this program.
